72, of Memphis, TN died on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born Wednesday, October 20, 1943 in Somerville, TN, he was the son of the late Richard Smith and the late Ester Harvey Smith. He was the husband of Mary Green Smith. He was employed by A W G. Surviving are sons, Cleven R Smith, Samuel L Smith, Christopher A Smith and Brandon M Smith, daughters, Callie Walton and Edith Cochran, brothers, Willie E Smith, Richard Smith and B B Smith, sisters, Annie Smith, Fannie Smith and Ester Lee Johnson and a host of grandchildren, nieces' nephews and other relatives and friends to celebrate his home going. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Solomon Temple Baptist Church, 1460 Winchester Rd, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Solomon Temple Baptist Church located at 1460 Winchester Rd Memphis, Tennessee 38116. Interment will be in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
