Cliff and Maxine Sanders, both age 81, passed away in Baxter on October 9, 2023. Funeral Services for Cliff and Maxine will be held on Friday October 20, 2023, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter at 1:00pm. There will be a visitation held from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the church. There will be a lunch served following the service.
Cliff and Maxine lived most of their lives in Minnesota. They both loved camping, fishing, and skiing together. They were active members of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and served in many ways. Cliff was skilled at woodworking and had an interest in computers and worked as a systems analyst. Maxine loved working in her flower garden and putting together beautiful quilts.
Cliff is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Edna Sanders; his mother in- law and father in-law Everett and Ione Hannah; his brother Denny Sanders, sister Joyce Grangruth, and brother-in-law Roger Gates.
He is survived by his loving children; son Kevin (Kristen) Sanders and daughter Krista (Bob) Dubbels; grandchildren Jake Sanders, Tyler and Samantha Dubbels; his siblings Ray Sanders and Elaine Gates; in-laws Pam Sanders and Clyde Grangruth, many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Ione Hannah; her mother in-law and father in-law Robert and Edna Sanders; sister in-law Joyce Grangruth; Brothers in-law Roger Gates and Denny Sanders.
She is survived by her loving children; son Kevin (Kristen) Sanders and daughter Krista (Bob) Dubbels; grandchildren Jake Sanders, Tyler and Samantha Dubbels; her brother Ron (Diane) Hannah, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Cliff and Maxine were loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
