A beloved husband, wonderful father, loving grandfather, son and brother passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Country Estates on the Cove (151 Country Village Road N.E., Calgary). In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Calgary Health Trust in support of Foothills ICU Unit (http://secure.calgaryhealthtrust.ca/ clifflundell). Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.

Cliff. It has been so long since I have written to you. I think of you every day. You are always part of our family conversations. We all miss you sooo much.
Kale Kade and Kendi are in University.
Kale and Kade play Lacrosse and are awesome. Kendi remains in hockey and is sooo good. Jet and Jovi are amazing hockey players. You would be so proud.
Jim passed away last year. Maybe you are playing BS poker right now. Ha ha
I could go on and on but not for a minute do I not think of you.
I have such a lonely life by myself. Kids are busy with their
lives.

Today, I light a candle of the eve of the 5th anniversary of your passing. Where did the time go? When someone is loved so deeply, as you were Cliff, then grief becomes the last gesture of enduring love. So I light this candle for Lana too. It is my way of telling her I am thinking of her. Grief never ends and it is the price we pay for love. May 1st is a day to mourn your passing and to celebrate great love!

Cliff----just a not to say how much you are loved and missed. Tomorrow is Kale's 18th birthday. I know you would be bursting with love and pride at the amazing young man he has become. I so wish you were here. Kent and Kale are in Bangkok today--an 11 day holiday was his gift for his birthday...

Cliff---There is not a day goes by that I do not think of you.When I am in Calgary we mention your name so often---whether it be something you like to eat or how you would have enjoyed an outing with the family..I miss you so very much especially at Christmas---hockey games with all the grandchildren and just every day visits we had. You would have been so proud of their accomplishments. Kale will be 17 soon--driving--working ..Kade will be 16-driving--- both doing so well in school and sports.Kirk's kids are doing so well in Sports and school and piano. Kory's kids are growing up--the girls are beautiful..boys are getting big. I love all my grandchildren. We all miss you dearly.
What I wouldn't give to hug you today and tell you how much you are still loved. Your mom is going to be a 100--what a celebration that will be.

Cliff--missing you sooo much. Have been talking about you and going through pictures--the memories are always heartwarming but the tears still flow.
We are just weeks away from Christmas 2015 and we have planned our family supper in remembrance of you. How much you are missed on that evening and all evenings.
Grand kids are growing up so quickly --all playing hockey--Kale has his first job and Kade got another buck!! Kendi Jet and Kendi are just great kids--Jovi loves her hockey.
Mom is 99 now--we always said she would live to be a 100!!
Kory and family just moved into their new home---they are all so very happy and so a I. His family is doing great and I am so proud of his children.
I am going to spend Christmas in Calgary this year. Will so miss you. I love you Cliff. Bev passed away this past November so maybe you are talking about the Beer you both made and golfing your strategies.

Cliff my dearest--it is August 28th and the leaves are starting to fall off of the trees--heard to believe the summer is passing. The grandchildren will be back in school soon. They are all back in hockey for another year. Kent and Nancy celebrated 20 years of wedded bliss and Kirk and Julie celebrated 15 years---so many beautiful memories from those 2 marriages. The best gift was the 5 grandchildren they gave us.
Kory and family are so excited about their new home . I am making a trip to Lloydminster to see your mom who will be 99 and to see Kory's family and new home. His children are all growing up so quickly. I have got to know them more and love them all dearly. Wish I could see them more often.
The Denali is on her last leg---burning oil and using gas like there is no tomorrow!!! I am still driving your car in the city--thanks to you. I did however buy another Honda so should be good for a few years---I can't believe i am 69---a gift denied to many as seem to lose friends so often.
Off to see Brian and Joan--we talk about the good times so often and have good laughs----remember you often and miss you soo much. You will forever be in my heart and i will Grieve for you always..Till the next time---Love you--your wife Lana xxx

My dearest Cliff---how quickly the time goes by. I think of you each and every day--of something you liked or did or just about my life with you. I try to be so happy with the memories but there are any days the tears just fall wishing you were here at family gatherings or just to spend time and talk to you. I miss you more than anybody will ever know. Today is Kirks birthday and we talked about his birth this morning -- 46 years ago. Another boy, another blessing. Tomorrow is Father's Day. You looked so forward to having a golf game with them and I remember you crying at telling me how proud you were of the BOYS. The grandkids are growing up to be incredible human beings---so talented so smart--so gifted in their own ways. Just great awesome kids. Cliff- it has been a week of many happy and sad thoughts----I went through all the pictures from all our days at the Lake--oh what great fun we had---so many great fishing days and fun times around the fire. So happy to see the children when they were little and to see what great men they have become--and their families as well--Kendi is an awesome athlete--great hockey player she is developing into. Jet is an awesome kid--so kind and loving and what a great little hockey player he is. Jovi is a sweetie--loves her dance and singing. She and her friend Gwen put on a production for Kendi and I---I thought how much you would have enjoyed it all. Her team won the cities this year in hockey, so a great little player as well. Kade is a great hunter and athlete--is great in school sports and Lacrosse--can run like a deer.--a really nice lad for sure. Kale is still loving his hockey and Lacrosse--you would have to look up to him now at almost 6ft 5...he has his drivers license as well. Kory's family is growing up. They are all getting a new home so excitement there for sure.How I wished you were here to be part of this all. I so miss you Cliff--you were my world. Cliff-I am sitting here watching the Briar and it brings back all the memories of the years we had going to the Briar with your mom and sister. I remember the Briar sweatshirt you bought years ago and I am sure if you were here this year you would have worn it.
I just got back from a Cruise and I know you would have loved it. As I stood on the upper Floor overlooking the Piazza the band played Lay Down Sally---the tears came as I remembered how much you loved that song and our time in Italy when you found it on a jukebox. Cliff---once again we a a family all gathered at Swiss Chalet for our Turkey Festive supper----we could feel your presence and knew you would smiling down at us.....you are so missed for so many reasons. With Christmas fast approaching I will fondly look back at all the years we shared---some of the great times at the cabin and all the fun we had exchanging whacky gifts---the time you gave me a sewing machine and i cried with happiness...the year I wanted a wig an you thought that was so silly as I had nice hair---I could go on and on as so many to remember after the grand kids came.You loved this time of year and were so excited when i came back---Love you so much and miss you with all my heart...your beloved wife...

Cliff---when a little piece of your heart is taken away the grieving will never go away-----I just try to keep going by remembering all the wonderful things we did together----I fried fish the other night----I remembered when you used to nibble away while you cooked, so by the time it was done you had a meal!!
Kale had a project at school where he was given an image and a poem and he had to write a story----well Cliff he wrote about the memories he has of you----how touching that was---I am sure you were smiling down at him--he has such a wonderful spirit that boy does---so of course we both cried in remembering you. Just celebrated Kades 14th birthday. Had a nice family dinner with Mom, Nancy, Kale, and Kade....sure missed you and wished you were here to celebrate it with us. You would be soo proud to see what fine young men your grandkids are growing up to be. Reminded me of my days back when I was 14 and the days spent with you fishing up at the cabin around my birthdays.
