Clifford Kilpper 'Kip' Bourgeois

Clifford Kilpper "Kip" Bourgeois, a resident of Baton Rouge, died on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at age 71. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Brewer Bourgeois, his children Amanda Bourgeois, Micah Bourgeois and his wife Jaime Aymond Bourgeois, and three grandsons, Brayden, Easton, and Cohen Bourgeois, his mother Virginia "Ginger" Richerson Bourgeois, sister Ginger Dele Bourgeois Berthelot and husband Daryl, brother Doss Bourgeois and wife Sally, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Louis S. Bourgeois. He retired in 2012 after 45 years of service at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. The great joys of his life were time spent with his family, Christian fellowship, and spending time traveling, especially in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Baton Rouge General Medical Center and Ochsner Cancer Center. A memorial service will take place at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3550 Morning Glory Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 6:30 PM. Visitation will precede the service at Trinity's Common Room beginning at 5:30 PM.
