Dr. Clifford Defforest Burgin, III

Dr. Clifford Defforest Burgin III, 55, passed away on March 30, 2016, in Hanford, CA. He was born on January 3, 1961, in Stockton, CA, to Clifford Jr. and Mary Burgin.

Clifford grew up in Stockton, CA. He graduated from Linden High School in 1979. After high school, he attended the University of Pacific where he earned the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy. He worked for Save Mart, Leoni's, Riverdale Drugs, and Walgreens as a well-loved pharmacist for 30+ years.

Starting in his youth, Clifford was a sports enthusiast. He excelled in baseball, football, and fishing. Clifford was a true leader coaching the children of the community in various sports he loved so much.

Clifford married Savina in 1991 in Stockton. They were happily married for over 25 years. Clifford is survived by his spouse Savina of Lemoore, his children, Louann & Kevin Cawley of Hanford, Clifford Burgin IV and Brittnay Burgin both of Lemoore and his grandchildren, Makayla Cawley and Conner Cawley of Hanford and Maryah Thompson of Lemoore as well as his father, Clifford D. Burgin, Jr. of Libby, Montana.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. all at People's Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 The family will be greeting friends and relatives following the services. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park; Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi, CA 95241.
