Obituary:

Clifford James Conover, 68, of Marathon, FL, passed away on May 20, 2024. Born in Berlin, NJ, Cliff was a beloved father, brother, and friend. Cliff had a charismatic and fun-loving personality.

Cliff, also known as "Butch," served in the US Marines after graduating from high school which may have contributed to his hardworking nature throughout his entire life.

In his free time, Cliff enjoyed many hobbies such as grilling outdoors (in any weather!) and cooking up meals such as his delicious chicken marsala. He loved listening to music, playing the harmonica, karaoke and singing "Good Luck Charm" in his Elvis voice to his KatyPie when she was little. Cliff enjoyed the simple things in life like a good wine with dinner, a beautiful sunset, a great tan, and his beloved MGB "Hoss".

Cliff is survived by his daughter, Katelin Darcy Conover of Centralia, WA; his sisters, Anna Madeline Conover of Pine Hill, NJ and BeverlyJean Conover of Clementon, NJ; his stepbrother Marshall Woodis Wynne of Portsmouth, VA; longtime friend and former wife Jeanette Fagerness of Chehalis, WA; and several nieces and nephews. Cliff was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret (Peggy) Jane Scott; father, Clifford Warren Conover; sister Patricia Margaret Newman; and sister Susan Lorraine Shover.

Cliff's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved.

I can't believe it, just went to call him today, last I received a message from him early May saying he was ok and my phone broke and died.
Cliff, I love you man, you knew that, I knew he loved me, his daughter Kaylie, and Jeanette, his sisters, and family.
One of my, if not my best friend, 2021 I went back to Pottstown, and we had beers and lunch at the Riverside and Coventry Pub, We hugged, and he went to FL, me to CA. That placed loved Cliff!! We lived next to each other in St Peters, it was wonderful, he always kept you up, and going when I would feel down.
Katy if you read this, your Dad loved you so much, he talked about you all the time.
Cliff, I am heartbroken, I will always remember you, we did so much together, always a class act, and always a cowboy hat, but mostly a friend...
"Hoss" long may you run....
