NIELSEN, Clifford WilliamMarch 31, 1931 - December 18, 2010 It is with tremendous sadness and grief that we announce the unexpected passing of our dearly loved Husband, Father, and Grandfather Cliff. He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Gladys, Daughters Colleen Titus, Linda Ouellette (Laszlo), Brenda Tankard (Alan) and 5 Grandchildren Blake, Marnie, Caroline, Tom and Keith. Cliff was a larger than life presence to his family and all who knew him and a joke was never far away from his lips moments after he walked into a room. He kept the party alive. He loved life and with Mom in tow, had many adventures along the way in his retirement years. Life as we know it will never be the same again. Cliff,, thank you for 54 eventful years, Dad, thanks for providing us with your love and words of wisdom as we grew into adults, and Grandpa, you rock. We love you. Thank you Dr. George Vrabec, and your superior team of surgeons, for giving us many extra years of time with Dad. Special thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses in the ICU and PACU at Royal Columbian Hospital who cared for him. There is no funeral by request, but a gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Please contact (604) 614-9788 or e-mail [email protected] for further details.
