To the Poff Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Cliff and extend our deepest sympathy to you all.Cliff was a great friend and trusted advisor to the Goss family and company over the years and he will be greatly missed.
I would like to relate one story of a time when Cliff quietly and confidently helped our company during a patent infrigement trial that we were wrongly accused of.It was involving big time lawyers as he called them from Boston representing a large global company who was trying to corner a product and suing everyone in their path.Cliff had our supporting evidence of prior art. They however were coming down hard over many meetings and if it went to trial it would have been costly for us just to prove our point.Cliff handled it in a very professional manner but said one day "I just don't like their tactics. They think they can come in here and run us out of town".It was a mistake to get Cliff mad.One day he came into the meeting with his sly smile and we knew he was up to something.Through his extensive research he found they had filed the patent incorrectly and by the end of the day he sent the Boston lawyers packing, won the case for us and ruined their cases in other parts of the country.Great guy, great lawyer and great friend of the Goss family. We will never forget him.

My heart goes out to the good Poff Family. I met Cliff a few years back and he was always a true gentleman, a great guy. I'm certain many people are saddened by Cliff's passing as I am; I will miss him. Call me anytime Cliff Jr. and Eileen. May the Lord comfort you all.

TO THE FAMILY OF Mr. Poff
My deepest sympathy on the passing of your loved one. I only met him once and that was for a brief moment at my husband Chuck Brace's memorial. I am so very sorry.
