Clifford Tyler Obituary
Born Aug. 17, 1977 in Van Wert, he was the son of Penny L. Feasby Tyler of Rockford and the late Clifford Leo Tyler, Jr.
He was a graduate of Parkway High School and was employed with Airclaws Heating and Cooling. He loved the outdoors including fishing, and sports along with his family.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Callie; a sister, Sara (Paul Sturwold, III) Tyler of Van Wert; his partner, Cindi Lucas, and her three daughters, Janey, Audrey and Kayla; and a niece, Charlee.
A combined memorial service for Rocky and his son Caleb will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Christ Community Wesley Church, with Rev. David Holdren officiating. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

We met Rocky through his work at Airclaws. Over the years, we came to rely on Rocky and he became a trusted friend. Within that friendship, Rocky often confided his ups and downs, concerns, how proud he was of his children and his hopes for the future. We learned that family was the center of Rocky's world. Each time we saw him, he talked about his family, sharing what was on his heart; always Caleb and Callie, the girls, Cindy and his mom. Rocky loved being a dad and he loved his family more than anything in this life. We are shocked and deeply saddened by this tragedy and we already miss him so much. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all that knew and loved Rocky and Caleb. Your loss and your grief is unimaginable. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I first knew Rocky when Caleb was in my 2nd grade classroom. He was a very caring and loving father. We both got to know Rocky when AirClaws installed our heat pump. We always knew that we were in good hands when Rocky was in charge. This world lost a good man when we lost Rocky.
Caleb touched so many lives in his short, precious time here on Earth. This sweet angel is now at home with God. Im so thankful for the year that I got to guide him through 2nd grade.

I did not know Rocky or Caleb but I knew their Aunt Sharon very well. I also work with her daughter, Judy. Sharon would talk about Rocky and laugh about something he did or said. I can still remember her laughter. Praying for the family for comfort and peace.

One of the first people we met upon moving to Athens and quickly one of our favorites, Rocky has been a continuous friend & helper by way of Airclaws throughout our home renovation. We have been in such good hands with him taking care of us that the loss is just terribly heavy. Ive actually never met Rocky or Caleb until the night of their accident. I was one of the first people to stop to help until the ambulance got there. I spoke to them hoping that they could hear that they werent alone and that help was coming. I am so very sorry for their losses. What a tragic accident. I am continually praying for their families for peace and comfort.
