Elizabeth Rudisill Obituary
She was born on April 12, 1940, Lincolnton. Ann was the daughter of the late Wilford Woodrow and Virginia Carpenter Wyont. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
Ann was an active member of Puett United Methodist Church all of her life. She worked at Mary Jo's Cloth Store for 26 years, loved to sew, work with the youth of the church, fellowship with the senior citizens group, and staying in touch with her High School classmates. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn (Sue) Em-mett and husband Roy Emmett.
She is survived by her husband, Jonas (Joe) Dayton Rudisill, Jr.; daughters, Lori Carpenter and husband Lee, Lisa Glover and husband Richard, and Dawn Emory and husband Mark; grandchildren, Chelsea Carpenter Rushing and husband Cameron, Joshua Glover and fiance' Casey, Brady Glover and fiance' Ariel, Jared and Ma-lia Emory; nieces, Terri Williamson and husband Alex and Pam Emmett; nephew, Roy (Eddie) Emmett; and five great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Puett United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cliff Wall offi-ciating.
Her body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Rudisill Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Puett United Methodist Church in the Family Life Center.
Memorials may be made to the Puett United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3009 Puetts Chapel Road, Dal-las, NC 28034, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 N. Cedar Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Rudisill family.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Mrs. Ann was such a beautiful person inside and out. She always made me and my family feel so welcome at Puett's. I love the whole Rudisill family and will be praying for them all!

I know deep in my heart that Ann went to see God ,and he said to her "well done my faithfull servant. Ann meant alot to me.As teenager she was my sunday school teacher and MYF leader. I leaned alot from here growing up. I will always cherish the times we spent on myf and sunday school trips. She will be missed so much.

I worked with her at Mary Jo's. She was a special person. Also her Mon & Dad and Mom & Dad were close friends. I remember going to their house when I was a little girl. That is where I learned to ride a bicycle.. To the family, I will be thinking of you during this hard time. God Bless.

Ann was a special person. She was a classmate who kept the members together by going out to eat each month. We will all miss Ann but not as much as Joe and her family. God needed another angel.

As a young girl I remember Mrs Rudisill as a loving talented lady that always welcomed me at her home as if I was her own. Heaven gained a true Angel.
