Clifton Dean Davis

Clifton Dean "Tippy" Davis, 87, of Baytown was born May 1, 1924, in Middletown, OH and passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012, in a local hospital. He was a U. S. Army Air Corps WWII veteran and a loyal and very active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Cora Davis; wife, Betty Davis; and son, Michael Davis. He is survived by his children, Rebecca Baker, Ellen Marie Davis and friend Arnold, all of Baytown and Clifton Dean Davis, II and wife Jaki of Loveland, CO; daughter-in-law, Marie Ebner Davis of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Ralph Davis and wife Ginny of California and Lowell Davis and wife Jean of Austin; grandchildren, Blaine Baker and wife Angela of San Marcos, Melanie Gerik and husband Steve of Dallas, Sarah Lindstrom and husband Kurt of Baytown, Lyndsey Helley and husband Justin of Madison, WI, and Clifton Dean Davis, III of Baytown; and great grandchildren, Julian, Jenna, Nicholas, Gabe, Amelie, and Ciarra. His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, March 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Lobit, Baytown, TX, 77520 with Pastor Raymond Van Buskirk officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
