ZION - Clifton Lloyd "C.L." Eastwood, 47, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Zion, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in his home in Houston.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna with Revs. Terry Ray and Rev. Russell Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

C.L. was a truck driver for the Joe Ramos Company in Houston.

He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was a 1977 graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School.

He served from 1977 to 1980 in the United States Army.

He was born Oct. 26, 1959, in Waukegan, the son of Roy L. and Pat L. (Hancock) Eastwood.

Survivors include his parents, Roy and Pat Eastwood of Karnak; three daughters and a son-in-law, Melissa and Scott Luttenbacher of Carterville, Sarah Eastwood of Indianapolis, Ind., and Erica Eastwood of Zion; two stepchildren, Christine and Paul Siebenthal and Mike Bentley, all of Indianapolis; five grandsons, Will Wiseman, Brandyn Wiseman, Jaron Luttenbacher, Carson Eastwood and Ian Straussburg; one stepgranddaughter, Addie Seibenthal; a sister, Patricia and Terry Ray of New Orleans, La.; two nieces, Ashley Ray and Brittany Ray; two uncles; an aunt; and several cousins.
