Clinton and my Father (Theodore E. Mayes who passed away over 2 and one half years ago) went to school together. I have many fond memories of Mr. Hawkins at the gas station. Mr. Hawkins will be missed.

Mr. Hawkins was one of the last of Coeburn's true gentlemen - the type we don't see anymore. Always a friendly word and a smile. I'll miss seeing him on his visits to the Post Office.
