Clova Skippy McClure

Clova (Skippy) McClure passed away on April 24, 2015 at her home in Denham Springs at the age of 77. Skippy's whole life was wrapped around her family. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of them and others. She never met a stranger. She took in anyone who would let her. She touched so many lives and always put others' needs before her own. Memorial visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday May 3, from 2-4pm with a service/ celebration of her life from 4-5pm. Clova McClure was the daughter of Roy Stout and Alice Lauflin. Clova survived by her brothers Jack Stout and Glenn Stout, her son Jay H. McClure, daughter Claudia Hale, Son-in-law Joe Sullivan, Daughter-in-law Lana Register, Grandchildren Melonie Roger and her husband Casey Roger, Charlie Hale, Julia Hale, and Brandon Kelly, her great-grandchildren Mia McClure and Gage Jenkins and numberous other relatives. She was proceeded in death by her grandson Jay Alvin McClure. A special thank you to all of those who gave their love, time and support in caring for her in her journey.
