Clyde Bailey Obituary
Marietta
Clyde "Bo" Bailey, 69, of Marietta, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 2, 2017.
Born in Marietta, SC, he was the son of the late Garvin Bailey and Mary Johnson Bailey Myers. Mr. Bailey was an Iron worker, worked for Duke Power, was an electrician, a builder, and was the owner of C.M. Bailey Plumbing for over 40 years. He was a man of many traits, and was always willing to help those in need. He was a faithful deacon and member of Gap Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca Bailey; one son: Clyde Matthew Bailey (Carolyn); one daughter: Karen Bailey Segrest (Neal); one brother: Harold Johnson (Ronnah); two sisters: Nancy Gilbert, and Delores Kepner; one brother-in-law: Jake Reed; and one grandson: Bailey Segrest.
Along with his parents, Clyde was predeceased by two sisters: Juanita Reed, and Sue Masters; one brother: Alvin Bailey; and one brother-in-law: Tom Kepner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gap Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., October 7, 2017 at Gap Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Gap Creek Baptist Church, 381 Gap Creek Road, Marietta, SC 29661.

Such a wonderful man!! We just heard about the passing of this dear sweet person and I hardly have the words to express our sadness. Clyde was always singing , smiling , amazingly talented, hardworking and loved by our family. Please accept these condolences and know that Clyde always was and always will be thought of with love and a smile by the Greer Family.
