Clyde Billy Fleming

Mr. Clyde Billy Fleming, Jr., 78, of Catawba, NC passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Carolina Caring after a period of declining health. Mr. Fleming was born October 6, 1943 in Burke County, a son of the late Clyde Billy Fleming, Sr. and Pansy Lee Brown Fleming. He was a US Army Veteran and was well respected in the construction industry as a drywall finisher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Seagle and a brother, Bobby Fliming. Surviving are his wife, Betty Lane Fleming of the home, five daughters, Billieann Fleming of the home, Regina Peeler and husband Rick of Newton, Susie Beard and husband Charles of Lenoir, Tracy Hamby and husband, Keith of Hickory, Marie Peeler and husband Danny of Granite Falls, two brothers Garrett Fleming and David Fleming. Also surviving are the loves of his life, his ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
