Walt and Laura,
We just heard about Colin's passing. We are grieved for your all's sake and others who loved him. What a special man he became! We have affectionate memories of him growing up in stages when he intersected our lives on Bowen in 1999-2000, and then later in slots between 2006-2009 when we were there. As a corollary tragedy, our beautiful and artistic 30 year old niece, and Godchild, Kaytlyn Jornayvaz, passed away suddenly this past November, 2017, just a few months before Colin. I preached the funeral sermon for the 800 people in Denver who came. What I said to my sister, Louisa, and her husband and remaining children, I can repeat with confidence to you all now. It is what you all already know. Colin is in Heaven and he is completely happy and totally untroubled and lives in constant joy, peace and light. He has moved on from the small introduction of what we call life (here) to the rest of the really big story of his life which can only be lived in subsequent chapters in Heaven. Our faith in God and Christ shows us that all of our lives here are only the Preface or Introduction. Chapter One begins there and that's what he is living now! For your sakes, though, and the rest who loved Colin, who remain behind continuing their journey, we are very sad. No one wants to lose their child, not even God. May God's grace and comfort hold you both during this time of loss. Love Logan and Barbra Craft

Dear Walt, Laura and family. My daughter shared the tragic news of Colin's passing and I grieve for your whole family. I know you are a very strong close knit, caring, amazing family who will weather the storm together and we and all your friends, Church, will be praying for you always. Much love and hugs to you all. I was so impressed by your strength together in speaking your loving thoughts and please let Chad know he was amazing also in his eulogy of his older brother - he did Colin and his youger brothers proud. May God keep you in his arms and Bless you all forever more.
