To the family and friends of Colin Smith,

Departing this life is truly sorrow
Living again can happen tomorrow
Accepting GOD can ease the pain
Knowing the Bible can keep us sane

Look beyond this hurtful time
See when GOD will really shine
Bringing back all those we love
Giving thanks to GOD above

Dear Leslie, Dale & Kelly,

I will remember clear as day, Colin's grin... at family gatherings, from the soccer pitch... and bumping into him here and there... always with a warm and
"happy to see you" grin. Unforgettable.

Thinking of you with love,
Chrissy, Tino, Larissa & Peter

Dear Leslie, Dale and Kelly,

I have so many wonderful memories of Colin, especially his love of life and friendship to everyone. I remember the ski trips to Montana and the group lunches at University. How Colin spent hours planning my first year Uni. timetable to make it easier for me. And this was way before computers/internet, when you actually had to go class to class and stand in line. That is typical Colin behaviour.

I heard about your wonderful trips in the summer to Europe and the great memories you made. Colin was so proud of his boys and cherished Leslie.

Colin will be greatly missed, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Leslie and Family:

May the comfort of a life without pain and struggle fill your hearts and ease the pain that you feel, as your husband and father is in a better place. "Your loss leaves a heartache No one can heal, Love leaves a memory No one can steal". The love he had for all of you and you for him will never be lost. Take care of each other as he took care of you all.

Although I haven't had the good fortune to see Colin very often since our university days, I will continue to have very fond memories of him and the spirited camaraderie that he was such an important part of. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family at this difficult time.

The Class of 76 has lost one of it's best.

Dear Leslie, Dale, and Kelly,
We were shocked and very much saddened to hear about Colin. It has been too long since we've seen each other and I regret not being there to support you at this very difficult time. Brian and I will see you Saturday at the service. Frannie, Erin, and Daley also asked that I send their condolences.
Love Leigh and Brian

Smitty, it was a privilege and an honor to have known you and will always cherish the humor and associated laughter you brought. Still remember coming back from a ski trip where the old car trunk on opening revealed a few sardines and the related fragrance of the ocean with it! Till this day trying to ascertain who may have done this? Other memory would be of Parkers Ridge near the Columbia Ice Fields to climb a mountain for two hours in July for a twenty second ride down; and the reminder while perhaps crazy what an experience we all had!

Smitty, it looks like you have reached the top of the mountain, enjoy your next ride and all the very best to your family on their climb.

Cheers bud,
