Colleen was one of my favorite fun roommates while I was at Ricks College, 1969-1970. I will never forget how kind she was to invite me to come for Thanksgiving at her house that year. We were in the same English class and the Prof. asked us to introduce ourselves to the class and state our intended majors. She was so panicked and looked at me and said "I have no idea what my major is going to be!" and I said, "Just say you're a Psychology major and everyone will think you're really smart!" Which she did when it came to her turn, and I couldn't stop laughing at our little inside joke. We have lost track of each other over the decades, but I see from her obituary her outstanding life and career in science. Colleen: You did not disappoint!! Much love for the fond memories and many laughs we had that year, and the blessing you have been to people throughout your life. Someday, we will resume that laughter!! Mary

Colleen is my cousin. She was four years older than I so I don't have as many memories with her as I would like. I do remember her as an optimistic and happy person. I remember her as very conversant and enjoyable to be around. I ran the mile for Mackay High School at a high school track meet held at Rick College. I remember her cheering for me and talking to me afterwards. Somehow she noticed that I was running and was excited to let me know that she was there. She had a way of making me feel that I was important to her. She was a dedicated worker at the INL. I am proud to be her cousin.

I worked with Colleen for over twenty years and enjoyed every minute of that time. She was a magnificent lady with abundant and wide-ranging talents. I am sorry that I missed her service but my condolences to her brothers and sister and their families, and all her many friends. I will enjoy the many good memories of her forever.

Colleen was a wonderful colleague. We shared an office, laughs, good conversation and sugar free candy for several years. It was an honor to know her, work with her and learn from her. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was privileged to be Colleen's first piano teacher. She was such an enjoyable student....not just in piano but to be around. She was pleasant, polite, and so talented. I loved her. I have kept track of her and worked with her a bit on some genealogy. She was an amazing person. She will be missed her and welcomed and busy in heaven. Cherrill Evans Dygert
