It has been a year now Collin and you are still loved, remembered and missed just as much. There is a piece of my heart that will never mend and you will never be forgotten. As my brother in law, you were the only brother I ever had. With Love,

I just read about Collin in the Umass Alumni magazine. I was a brother with him at DU. I spent a lot of good times with Collin. I'll always remember him as friendly, intelligent, and kind. I am very sorry for your loss.

Collin was an amazing person who enjoyed people, travel, great conversation, was extremely generous to friends, neighbors and strangers, and genuinely wanted people to get along. He was exceptionally bright and accomplished in his chosen fields and had such a quick wit and humor that was not disrespectful to others, but left you waiting for the next funny thing he would say! Collin was the type of person the world needs more of. I met him at 16, had the honor of being his sister in law and am heart broken he is gone. Collin was loved and is so very missed! Colin sounds like a wonderful young man which makes your loss all the greater. Having sons, I cannot imagine the sorrow you are experiencing but I am deeply saddened by your loss. I pray that God will grant you some peace and comfort from the fact that Colin's demons are no longer chasing him or in charge of him. He is at peace.
