Collin Otto Smart

Collin Otto Smart, 23, lifelong Muskogee resident, died Sunday, April 13, 2008. He was born December 24, 1984 in Muskogee to Brian Otto and Laura Anne (Morris) Smart. He attended Pershing Elementary School, Muskogee High School and Northeastern State University. Collin worked as an electrician with his granddad for several years. The past six months he worked at Grant Prideco. Collin enjoyed jet skiing remote control helicopters, music and playing the guitar. He was a great dad and a wonderful loving son.Collin was preceded in death by his dad, Brian O. Smart on September 7, 2007 and his sister, Sara Kendall Smart in August 2006. He is survived by his son, Layne Parker Smart of Muskogee; mother, Laura A. Morris of Muskogee; fiancee’, Amanda Lewis of Muskogee; three sisters, Ivy and Callie Smart of Owasso and Molly Raney of Muskogee; grandparents and their spouses, Terry and Pat Smart of Muskogee, Lavonne and Larry Totten of Bixby, Richard and Alma Morris of Muskogee and Margie and Joe Hannah of Muskogee; uncles, David Smart and wife Karen of Ardmore and Chris Morris and wife Monica of Orange Park, Florida; aunts, Nicki Argo and husband Jeff of Tulsa, Tara Nichols and husband Clint of Keefeton, Heather Ross and husband Shannon of Bear, Delaware, Megan O’Neal and her husband Jeff of Aurora, Illinois and one nephew, Julian Otto.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Christian Chapel, 4043 Chandler Rd., Muskogee with Rev. Conrad Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in Brushy Mountain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Perkins, Steven Clemens, Jed Robertson, Trey Martin, Josh Raney and Collin Hensley.
