I loved Mr. Phillips. He was always so kind and understanding. I had him for my computer science class and history. He was truly one of the pest teachers I have ever had. Rest in Peace Mr. Phillips

Mr. Phillips was one of the best teachers I had ever had. Back in eighth grade I got the honor of having him as my history and my computer science teacher. He was a kind and funny guy, always entertaining the humor of me and my friends. Ever since I took his class I took an interest into computer science and thanks to him and his amazing way of teaching I strive to continue learning code and some day maybe even making my own popular game. Thank you Mr. Phillips for everything you have done and you will be missed.

I remember back in eighth grade every few classes or so he would have a new drawing of whatever was relevant in the unit of history he was teaching on the whiteboard. As a doodler myself I always admired his cartoons.
Hey Mr. Phillips, sorry for finding out so late. And thanks for everything.

You are so missed my friend. I learned so many new things as your colleague, and I enjoyed the talks we had before class started. You made an impact with the kids you guided and you warmed the hearts of the colleagues who knew you. I´ll miss our Disneyland trips and sharing chili recipes.

As a friend of my daughter I met and talked with Colton only a few times but I am glad that I did, he was clever, funny and good natured and it´s obvious why people liked Colton and enjoyed being around him.
God bless you Colton and your family.
