Concetta "Connie" Anderson

Concetta "Connie" (Angeloni) Anderson, 102, of Vernon, passed away August 14, 2023 in Manchester Manor. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Guiseppe and Maria (DiStavola) Angeloni on April 16, 1921.

Connie had a great love of her family and took every opportunity to show it. She never missed any event of her children and grandchildren. Connie was very active at Welles Village, where she has lived for the last 20 years, including Bingo and participating in the plays, with her last performance being at the age of 100. She was also a member of the Tolland Seniors and the United Congregational Church of Tolland. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing Cryptograms and Word Search puzzles.

Connie was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 1998. She will be greatly missed by her children, Larry Anderson and his wife Susan of South Windsor, Cathy Uhlman and her husband Richard of Vernon and Robert Anderson and his wife Liliana of Rocky Hill, her grandchildren, Kyle Anderson and his wife Nicole, Ryan Anderson and his wife Debbie, Michelle Johnson and her husband Glen, Michael Uhlman and his wife Jenny, Kristina Bontempo and her husband Nicholas, Nicole Denovellis and her husband Devin and Marisa Anderson. Connie also leaves her Great-grandchildren, Rylee, Carmela, Axel, Juliet, Joseph, Vincent, Camila, Ava, Tyler, Gianna, and Liliana, along with 2 more on the way. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her 10 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call on Friday August 18, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Memorial Service celebrating Connie's life will be held on Saturday August 19, 2023 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, 220 East Center Street, Manchester.
