Connie Pierre Booker

Connie Pierre Booker departed life on April 22, 2022 at 5:06 pm. Connie was born February 11, 1964. She was a lifelong resident of Algiers, New Orleans, LA. She was a native of the Lower 9th ward. Connie is survived by her children, Donovan Pierre, Kristen, and Jermal Booker. Her five grandchildren and also her siblings Deborah Williams, Steven Pierre, Penny Pierre, Kerry Pierre, and Jody Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Booker, mother Betty Peterson, and sister Cherry Pierre. Connie had a loving relationship with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her fun loving and spirited memory will live within all of us who lives she's touched. Her life was truly lived the way she wanted it to be lived. Connie was well known by her family as Nanna. Nanna was a soul that you always felt connected whether you've known her your whole life or only a few short months. She was a devoted Christian woman. Throughout her years she's been a member of many different church homes. Life Center Ministry, Connect Church of Algiers, and most recently she's been virtually attending her cousin's church Pastor Kevin Domingo of Rock Island Baptist Church. God thank you for loaning us your angel Connie Booker. 58 years of having this beautiful, sweet, free spirited angel with us. She will be missed but her love will continue to flow through us.
