Lora Halverson Obituary

Lora was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Rantoul, Ill., to Samuel and Lora Ross.
She married Leonard C. Halverson, an Air Force pilot, and they traveled the world throughout his career.
They retired on Cape Cod before Leonard's passing a few years ago. Lora moved to Texas, where she resided at the Courtyards in Fort Worth for several years. She loved crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Daughter, Judy Heath and husband, Donn of Fort Worth; son, Leonard C. Halverson and wife, Vickie of Andover, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
