Dear Connie:
We got to know you over an 11 day span at Israel. We met so many amazing people at that time. But the most inspiring person was you. You're tenacious desire to soak in the land of our Lord was awesome. Your physical limitations was diminished because of your love for God. You were step for step with us all throughout the arduous terrain. You thanked us always for helping. But I thank you more for your infectious fervor for always seeking Christ. Thank you God for allowing us to meet your favored child, Connie.

My husband and I were "bus mates" with Connie on our wonderful trip to Israel. It was heartening to watch her determination and joy while there. I have a beautiful memory of her sitting up front on the boat as we sailed on the Sea of Galilee. Her face was full of joy as we watched the evening fall on this special place. Our sympathies to you as you say goodbye to her. She will wait for us in heaven.

Connie was amazing on our Israel trip. She was determined to see it all and she did see most everything. She was a blessing to us and a real example of living out her Christian faith.

Connie was a dear friend. We had fun going to antique stores because we both love dolls. We went to church together and then we took turns buying each other's lunch. Connie would call me and say want to go and off we went She is the sweetest person I have ever meet. I will miss my best friend I know that she is home with the Lord. I will see her again My prayers are with her kids who she loved a lot.

So sorry for your loss. I have known Connie for 20 years(?) as a fellow stitcher at the annual Gretna Stitching Retreats.
I always enjoyed seeing the projects that Connie would be working on - usually with much details and very beautiful work. And she was not scared to change colors or even the design. And her embroidery on the EGA National tapestries was awesome! I truly feel honored to have been one of her "stitching" friends even though we might go a couple of years without seeing each other! We always get "reacquainted" with each other since our last meeting!
Will be missed!

I already miss the physical presence of my sister Connie.
But I take great comfort in knowing the positive effects she had on so many and that her spirit will live on through her family and all those she has helped in the past. Love ya sis !
