IPAVA - Connie B. Connell, age 58, of 410 E. Broadway, Ipava, Ill., passed away at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2006, at the Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1947, a daughter of O'Dell and Louise (Tyler) Connell.
Connie loved Elvis and collected many items of his.
She loved horses and belonged to the Rushville Saddle Club. She enjoyed her dog, Smokey Joe; and her paint horse, Chico.
She attended the Lewistown Church of the Nazarene.
Connie is survived by her parents of Ipava; one sister, Mrs. Carole (and Don) Derry of Ipava; one brother, John Connell of Marion, Ill.; nieces, Stacy (and Victor) Dorethy of Colchester and Tori Connell of Marion; nephews Doug (and Trina) Derry of Ipava and Dylan Connell of Marion; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Services will be held on Monday, June 12 at 10 a.m. at her church. Reverend Randy Munson will officiate. Internment will be in the Ipava Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava.
Memorials can be made to the Ipava Rescue Squad.
