Connie was our family´s second mother. She married when I was six years old. I remember when I was ten and she was expecting her first baby, Sandra, she asked me to spend the night with her because Jack had to be quarantined because he had German measles. They provided the roast for our weekly Sunday family lunch each week after church. For years they hosted family gatherings at their home during holidays. Jack and Connie were vital to our family gatherings and bonding. We will miss them but what a thrill Jesus took them to Heaven on the same day.

My sister Connie was always a integral part of my life as my oldest sister. She was an excellent example of a responsible, thoughtful, and caring woman of God. Growing up she was like a second mother to me. As an adult, she was always hospitable, compassionate, and loving. I will treasure her in my heart and life always. "Little Sis," Sharon
