Connie Vasquez
Connie Vasquez Ledesma of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Pflugerville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the age of 44. Connie was born on March 5, 1970 in Georgetown, Texas to Lucy Suarez and Joe Vasquez.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Isabel and Lucio Suarez and Eulalia and Ramon Vasquez. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Lucy Vasquez of Hutto; brother, Arthur Vasquez of Pflugerville; daughter, Alyssa Martinez and husband Lorenzo of Cedar Park; son, Joe Ledesma and daughter, Brittney both of Round Rock; her partner, Joe Rosa of Round Rock; her dear friend Anita Castro, who was like a sister to her; and granddaughter, Marissa Carolina Martinez.
Connie was a kind and generous person with a good heart. She always opened her home and heart to whoever needed help. She also had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh, even during her illness. Connie will be greatly missed by all who love her especially her granddaughter Marissa, or as Connie called her, "My Sunshine" and "My Love."
Her family would like to thank all the wonderful people that cared for her during her long illness: Dr. Lianne Marks, Anita Castro, Hospice Angels, Nancy, Vicky, Rodney, Ricky and Genie.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

I'm heartbroken. I didn't know when she passed. I would have been there to pay my respects to my childhood friend. She was a true friend and God mother to my daughter, Jessica. She will truly be missed, but not forgotten. My condolences to Joe, Lucy, Turo, n her kids, n Joe Rosa. May she rest in peace. Till we meet again my friend. Love you

Connie my childhood prima I will dearly miss you. I will always cherish our childhood memories. In Heaven you are healed and no longer have to suffer your earthly ailments. Connie, you were such a kind hearted person with a gentle disposition. Your soft spoken voice always calmed and comforted me every time we would talk. I will miss you so much. Thank you for the privilege of your friendship and for the great care and attention you gave Zachary when he was a baby. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to tell you that I love you the last time I saw you. My sincerest condolences to the family-Mr. and Mrs. Vasquez, Arturo, Alyssa, Joe, Brittney, and Marissa. Joe Rosa-you were such a godsend to her and I am sure you will continue to be to her family. The love, dedication and devotion that you had for Connie is admirable. May God comfort you all during this most difficult time. Love and hugs to all.
