Connie WELCH Obituary
68, of St. Petersburg, FL, transitioned January 10, 2018, surrounded by family. She was a data specialist for Honeywell Corporation, retiring after 35 years and member of Bethel Metropolitan Baptist Church. She is survived by husband, Johnny Welch; sisters, Ola M. Sudduth, Ida Shorter Roundtree (Nathaniel), Mary Ann Jackson, Willie Mae, Margaret, and Machelle Shorter; brothers, Jessie, Thomas, Robert E., Howard, and Michael Shorter; special nieces and nephews, Candice Anderson, Aniyah Willis, Henry Simmons, and Reko Willis; and other relatives. Funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 19, 11 am, at Bethel Metropolitan Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan 18, 3-5 pm, at Smith Funeral Home (727) 894-2266, with wake 6 pm, at Prayer Tower COGIC.
