CONRAD COOL Obituary
May 22, 2013, at 59 years of age. He grew up in Timmins where he spent his summer mornings going to swimming lessons and afternoons marching off to the library. His love of reading remained a companion throughout his life. He left to attend University, some believe mostly to play football. This is where he met Pamela, the mother of Jeffrey and Mimi, without a doubt his greatest accomplishments and his greatest love. Conrad was a devoted dad. He was president of the PTA, coached baseball, football, and, of course, helped at his church. Service defined him; hence, he became a member of the Knights of Columbus. Conrad is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Lacey Marshall, and granddaughter Moira), and Mimi (Doug DeCou). Conrad was everyone's favourite sibling. He taught all of us lessons in compassion, humility, and, above all, forgiveness. His wit and sense of humour will be missed by his sisters Aline and Jocelyn, brothers Herman (Brenda) and Raymond, and his niece, Jordan Cool. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Johanna Cool. My condolences to Herman and the Cool family.I was sad to hear of the passing of Conrad.I have known him since the age of 15.We both worked for Chrysler and every time I seen Con he had a smile and a joke would soon follow,always a pleasure to see him,he will be miss.

It was with deep sadness I recieved the news of Conrad's passing. I worked closely with Conrad at Chrysler for many years and considered him a good friend. What I remember most about Conrad was his quirky sense of humor, his deep faith and his unfailing devotion to his children Jeff and Mimi. Conrad and I had many conversations over the years about God, family and just lifes issues in general and I quickly learned that the inner man was entirely different from what you might see at first. It was an honor to know Conrad and while I am saddened at his loss I am also confident that at his passing from this home to his eternal one he will hear the words "Well done my good and faithful servant". God bless and keep you Conrad.

I am sadened by the news that Conrad had passed. I want to wish to the Cool family my sincere condolences. Although I have'nt had much contact with Conrad since high school, I have many fond memories Conrad when we both played football and when we went camping together at Sandy falls. I'm sure Herman remembers the trio we had formed while we were riding the bus to go play football at another town. The Bert, Leo and Ernie trio (Rene, Maurice and Conrad. I will cherish the memories forever.

I have just learned of the passing of Conrad. My sincere condolences to Herman and all the Cool family. Unfortunately, we cannot be present, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I was fortunate to visit Conrad and Herman during my last visit to Windsor a few summers ago. I will always remember Conrad from our High School days at Thériault in Timmins as a calm, quiet, easy going and sport minded fellow. You will be missed.
