FIANO Consolata Fiano, age 88, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Sabato Fiano, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Serino, Province Avellino, Italy, Mrs. Fiano had been an area resident for the last 40 years. She was a retired seamstress for the Seaside Blouse Company in Bridgeport, and following retirement still enjoyed sewing in her free time. Survivors include her beloved son, Pellegrino (Paul) Fiano and his wife, Alda, of Fairfield; three loving grandchildren, Tina Klein and her husband, David, Lucy Zeko and her husband, James, and Sam Fiano and his wife, Francine, all of Fairfield; five great-grandchildren, Bianca, Alex, Marisa, David and Isabella Marie; two step-great grandchildren, Teryn and Ryan; and several nieces and nephews in Italy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 8, 20005 at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Spear Funeral Home 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Home for the Elderly, 118 Jefferson Street, Fairfield, CT 06825.
