Constance "Connie" Conrad, 66, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1949, in Evansville, to the late Charles and Madeline (Kratz) Willman.

She was the current president of Tri-State Genealogical Society and had served on the board of the Indiana State Historical Society. She was a past 4-H Leader for ten years and was a member of Melody Hill Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Connie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ervin R. Conrad; daughter, Chrystal (Tim) Nation; grandsons, Carter and Nathan Nation; brothers, Fred (Barb) and Melvin (Mary) Willman; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor John Lefler, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

When I was growing up, Connie was an interictal part of my childhood. Connie and her brother, Melvin, lived across the street from us and my days were filled with endless joy. Wonderful memories of the 1950s.

I miss my cousin. She was kind and funny. She always knew what to do and where to get things and information. I loved her laugh and her smile. She was an amazing woman.

Yesterday I made creamed corn in my crock pot and talked about Connie making corn for us for Thanksgiving dinner. I will always think of her. I loved her so much and her mom was always so good to me,
I was blessed to be her cousin.

I love her and miss her. she was a sweet girl and a good friend as well as cousin. She use to wait for me to come into town when she was a little girl. we always took her for a choc. ice cream. we went to the one on riverside. although we were not close when she passed I was very sad and shocked when I heard she had passed.

Connie will be greatly missed, she always had a smile on, and made everyone laugh. She was always there when one needed information or guidance in southern Indiana Genealogical information. Going to conferences, and Indiana Genealogical Board meeting won't be the same. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss and I cannot express how deeply Connie touched me the day I was introduced to her by my Aunt Linda. I haven't been to a craft show in a long long time and Connie took me everywhere and I had the best time of my life with her. I only had one day with her but she touch me so much and showed me what I had been missing for so long. God gave me a gift that day and I will not forget it. Connie was a great person that knew so much about genealogy and willingly shared her knowledge with those starting on the journey of becoming detectives and looking for information on their families.
