I feel so fortunate to have had both Connie and her husband Bernie as very close friends through our relationships at SLUMC in Az. Connie was a wonderful Christian> We had so many great times together at dinners and playing a game called Fast Track. She was special to me with her wonderful lemon pies which she made specially for me on extra occasions. So glad we were able to spend some vacations together in San Diego and Idaho. Also so glad I was able to visit with her on July 8th which i thought was her birthday but really was her anniversary. God works in wonderful ways. Moving to OHio was a difficult decision but I"m so happy as was she that she made that decision. I had to make the same decision about 5 years ago and it also was the correct. KNow that she will be missed but that she is in a much better place and free of all the pain she endured. My sincerest condolences to all of you for the loss of such a wonderful lady and so glad I was able to be a part of her life for 18 years.
