Constance Mendiola Obituary
Erin will be deeply missed by her mother and step father, Deborah Ortega (Curnutte) and Gregory Ortega of Lorain; father, Jeffrey Farabaugh of Lorain; siblings: Aftin Coyne (Torrero) of North Ridgeville, and Kristen & Timothy Murr of Florida; children: Alyssa, David, Isella, Sofia, Joel Mendiola, and Aila Perez of Lorain; grandmother, Donna Dickson of Lorain; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, David Dickson, and maternal grandmother and grandfather, Gwendolyn Curnutte and Pedro Fernando Delarino, all of Lorain, along with other relatives.
Erin found joy in her morning coffee on the porch, gardening, reading, bike riding, and cherished spending time with her children. Friends and family are invited to attend the services on Friday, April 5th, 2024, from 3-7pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral in Lorain, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made at https://gofund.me/554ecaeb to support her children in their future endeavors.
May her loving and kind spirit live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.

Eric was always full of love a life for her children. I had the pleasure of working with her at Admiral King Elementary for PTO. Our boys grew up together, did track together, play dates. Eric you will be missed. To her family, our deepest condolences for you all.

Erin what's my neighbor for over 20 years I seen her older children grow up and seen her little ones starting to grow up and saw just how much of a devoted mother she truly was to her children and her family May she rest in peace

I knew Erin since I was 7 years old. Used to play hide and seek when she visited her families house. We went on to go to school together and participate in JROTC... Her smile could light up a room and I´ll never forget her. Our friendship will always had a special place in my heart. Until we meet again Erin.....

My heart aches from the passing of my dear cousin. I am blessed to have all these wonderful memories growing up with you ,that I will never forget. As co-workers, we kept things professional. Although when it came to her daughter Aila, we never missed a moment to converse(Aila attended the facility we worked at). One particular situation was based upon Ailas first steps that I witnessed. Following banter would reference these steps, only for Constance with a smile on her face to inform me Aila had taken 11 more steps.
