Mr. Constantine Nicholas Ganas

CONSTANTINE N. GANAS (Age 88) On Thursday, March 31, 2011, CONSTANTINE N. GANAS of Laurel, MD at The Sanctuary at Holy Cross, Burtonsville, MD. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 14, 1922, the son of the late Nicholas and Irene Ganas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stacia and brothers, Theodore and Milton. He is survived by five nieces and nephews, Cassandra Barbour, Melanie (Pete) Pantazopoulos, Victoria Ganas, Nicholas (Christine) Ganas and Andy Ganas. Also survived by five great nieces and nephews. He served in the Army for nearly three years in the European Theater during World War II. He was retired from the Federal Post Office. Friends may call at HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where Service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
