Coralea and Edward were such dear friend to my parents Bob & Lorene Prewitt. In October of 2018 I reached out visit Corelea In Corpus Chrisit before I went on to Austin for my cousins 60th birthday event. She graciously allowed me spend the night, and did we have fun talking well in to the night. I so enjoyed hearing about her younger days with Edward, their many travels, and what it was like to be young married couples back in the 1940's. Coralea had me pull down a BIG scrapbook-oh the places they went!!! My dad "Coach" had passed earlier that year-it helped me to just talk. Coralea told me she would really like to go to a favorite spot that she and Edward loved to go to for lunch. I had no idea what to expect-but was happy to enjoy her company for an "on the water" lunch. Boy was I surprised at Snoopy's! Not at all what I was expecting- my first ever shrimp sandwich. I loved imagining her and Edward fishing at their favorite spot- enjoying the casual lunch afterwards. Just a lovely woman full of grace and always a positive attitude. With love, Tricia Prewitt (Franklin MA )
I know Coralea was delighted to be celebrated for the family birthday. I liked to check in on her from time to time, and had heard about the party! Beautiful photo.

This was the last birthday party for Coralea I attended. The family was all together and I´m happy to have documented the event. I loved Coralea. She was the last of the greatest generation and was always so kind and so smart. She will be greatly missed.

Living in Corpus Christi all of my life needless to say snow was not a regular childhood occurrence.
In 2005 I moved to Cheboygan, MI to marry my husband David.
It was toward the end of October, the forecast called for snow, boy was I excited!
Sure enough a few flakes started falling, the first person I called was Aunt Coralea, I kept telling the flakes were falling. Counting them until I lost track. She was so excited that I was excited. We stayed on the phone until the dude yard had a dusting.
Each and everytime it snows I think of that day. I love you Aunt Coralea.
