Torkey Toon! I knew you at birth. I watched you grow up. I think I was your first "girl' kiss as you experimented with life. You were loud and obnoxious at times, and yet I loved you still. Our dogs were siblings, a common bond we shared for many years. We didn't see each other or speak for months at a time, yet when we did, it was like a comfortable old pair of shoes. I can still hear your voice saying "toodles" when you were on your way to your next adventure. I miss you terribly. I remember ever word that was spoken during our last telephone conversation. I will keep that conversation tucked safely in my heart as you asked! I think of you every single time I vacuum my house, and remember the time you told off one of my day home staff over how she didn't clean the floors properly! LOL You were a gem!! I will always treasure our moments of laughter, for that is what you did best!!! I know I will see you on the other side. xoxoxo

My sincerest condolences to Corey's family and Brad. Though I did not get to know Corey for long, his energy and way of lighting up a room will always be memories that I treasure of him. Helen Keller once stated, The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched, but are felt in the heart. Though Corey is sadly gone now, he will forever live through your hearts.

Shine on you crazy diamond.
Uncle Corey, it's funny how much you were able to touch the lives of people three provinces over without even knowing it. Sure, we didn't exactly grow up with your influence, but you still greatly influenced who we became as your nieces and nephews. Your sense of humour and spirit were infectious; it was hard not to laugh and smile around you and we carried our fond memories around long after our visits. On the opposite side of things, your struggles made us more in tune with the struggles of the people around us and perhaps shaped us into more compassionate and open minded individuals. We were lucky to have you as an uncle in the short times our paths crossed. I will forever cherish the memory of my summer spent in Okotoks where I truly got to know you and spend quality time with you. Our last encounter was a sad one given the circumstances. You didn't have the same spark I came to expect from you. I hope that wherever you're at, you found your spark again. It was your gift to the world and it was an incredibly special one. Love you forever and always Uncle Corey. Our next journey out west will certainly missing something. All my love.

Corey, you were such generous and thoughtful person who loved life to the fullest. We will always remember the fun we shared down at Three Point Creek with Brad as well as the fun times during the holidays. I still have and will cherish the used camp kettle you gave me for Christmas. You can now rest in the arms of your mom with your best buddy Toven. Love and condolences to the family from Judy Thain, Helen Dexter Green and Jeffrey Houck
