My Mother, Geri Ennis, is a resident at the nursing home. She thought Corey was so kind and thoughtful and she really misses him. I know he will be greatly missed by family and friends. My prayers are with you all.

COREY TODAY I SET HERE AT MY DESK AND I THINK OF YOU AND I MISS YOU!I NEVER SAW YOU ALOT, JUST IN PASSING OR WHEN YOU WOULD COME BY THE CAFE TO GET FOOD, BUT I MISS YOU! I MISS THAT SMILE. AS WE ALL DO. I THINK THAT GOD COULD NOT HAVE PUT A BETTER PERSON ON THIS EARTH TO SPREAD THE LOVE AND JOY THAT YOU HAVE SPREAD AND WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD. YOU WILL LIVE ON THROUGH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. YOU HAVE TOUCHED ALL OUR LIVES IN A WAY I CANNOT EXPLAIN. I LOOK ON THE WEB PAGE EVERY DAY TO READ ALL THE GOOD THINGS THAT PEOPLE HAVE WROTE ABOUT YOU. THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY. IT HELPS ME TO FIND A BIT OF PEACE, BUT THEN AGAIN I SHOULD FEEL AT PEACE FOR YOU CAUSE YOU ARE WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. WHEN WE WERE KIDS, WELL I WAS OLDER, I USED TO COME OVER AND PLAY. WE WOULD EAT HAMBURGERS ALL THE TIME. I USED TO GET TIRED OF BURGERS, BUT WHEN I LOOK BACK IT WAS ALL WORTH EATING EVERY ONE OF THEM. JUST TO HAVE BEEN AROUND YOU AND THE WHOLE FAMILY WAS A JOY. WE GET OLDER AND WE GROW APART FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS, BUT YOU ALWAYS LOVE AND CHERISH THE TIME WE HAD. THAT I THANK GOD FOR EVERY DAY.COREY SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND FLY, BUT KNOW THAT WE LOVE YOU AND WE MISS YOU AND YOU ARE ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER AND EVER. LOVE YOU ALWAYS, TASHA.

The loss of corey had an impact on so many lives. Corey was my soulmate and i knew we were meant to be together. He would always know when something was wrong with me no matter how hard I tried to hide it. He knew me inside and out. He could make the worst days i had turn into the best. I am lost without him and have a feeling of emptiness that i can't even begin to explain. He had my heart completely and that he will ALWAYS have. I smile because i know we will be together again someday. Corey was my heart, my soul and my best friend. My daughter misses him so and writes him a letter everynight before she goes to bed. I have no idea when if ever i will be able to go through a day without crying. As for good memories every moment we were together was a memory and always the best. The last 14 months of my life was a blessing and I now know what true love really is and I will wait patiently for the day we can be reunited once again. I love you Corey!

I will always remember when I lived across the street from Corey and his family. KC, Kerri, and I are all the same age and went to school together at Dardanelle. I remember Corey walking in his yard in his diaper and standing at his front door yelling at the older kids when they were outside. He was always a good kid. He made one of my best friends, Robin, very happy as her boyfriend. I also know that he loved his mother, Cathi, and all of his nieces and nephews more than anything.

Corey was loved by so many, he will truely be missed. Here is a poem that Angie wrote when they were in school together:
I came upon the Holy steps and inhaled the fragrant air. The evening's chime sang out in a peaceful melody that cradled my inner soul. The glistening sunlight was decending from the moons arrival. Above I could feel the delicate breeze that was shed upon me from a pair of doves. Their graceful apperance gave off a heavenly gesture of an angel in flight. The nights rythem produced a chain of music that guided me towards the gleaming lights. As I reached the end of my lighted pathway, I came upon the golden gates. I entered the sacred palace with honor and pride, and in that serene moment, I knew that I had lived out my lengthy life here on earth.

COREY IT WAS A JOY TO HAVE YOU AS A NEIGHBOR FOR ALL THOSE YEARS. I THINK CHRIS REFFERED TO ME AS NOSEY LINDA SUE. WELL I WAS NOSEY CAUSE I LOVED AND CARED ABOUT YOU ALL AND WANTED NOTHING TO HAPPEN TO YOU. THAT IS WHAT FAMILY AND FRIENDS DO LOOK OUT AFTER EACH OTHER. YOU ARE NOW IN HEAVEN WHERE YOU CAN SPREAD YOUR LOVING PERSONALITY ON THOSE THERE. I WILL ALWAYS HOLD A SPECIAL PLACE FOR YOU IN MY HEART. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY AND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING JUST LET ME KNOW. I WILL DO WHATEVER I CAN FOR YOU ALL.
