To Henry, Melvin, Harry & the entire Webb, Smith & Thacker Families -
Our hearts ache today as all of you prepare to say farewell to Corlis & we can't be there with you. Saying goodbye is never easy, but over time, cherished memories will make the pain easier to bare & someday make us smile as we remember her sweet & gentle spirit. She was taken from us much too soon, but as people of faith, we all know God never makes mistakes. Corlis' pain & suffering are over now, she is " Safe in HIS Arms " & today, heaven is rejoicing one of HIS angels has returned home. "When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth, you are weeping for that which has been your delight". You are in our thoughts & prayers.

I went to Huguenot High School with Corlis. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing.

WE WISH TO EXPRESS OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES DURING THIS TIME. THERE IS SO LITTLE ONE CAN SAY TO EASE YOUR HEAVY HEART, BUT JUST KNOW THAT WE ARE PRAYING FOR THE FAMILY. SHE WAS SUCH A NICE PERSON AND A DEDICATED WORKER WHEN SHE WAS A MEMBER OF BROAD ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH. WE HATED TO SEE YOU ALL GO BUT GOD HAD SOMETHING ELSE FOR YOU ALL TO DO. WE ARE ONLY HERE FOR A WHILE THEN A NEW ADVENTURE WILL TAKE PLACE. HE LOOKED DOWN AND SAID I NEED ANOTHER ANGEL AND THERE IS A SWEET ROSE.

Corlis is deeply missed by myself and many other folks. I enjoyed getting to know Corlis at our Toastmasters club. She was a woman of deep Christian faith. The following verse came to mind when thinking of Corlis and her faith: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith". 2nd Timothy 4:7.

Corlis was a shining light even during the challenging times she experienced over the past few years. She was truly missed by me and many at SunTrust when she could no longer work. She had so many relationships with co-workers and her presence on a daily basis made each day better. My condolances to the Webb family during this difficult time.
