Cornelius Peterson

PETERSON, MR. CORNELIUS DEWEY "NEIL" Muskegon Neil died on January 1, 2012. He was born on June 6, 1937 to the late Blake and Myrtle (Poyner) Peterson. He was retired from Campbell, Wyatt and Cannon after 41 years of service. On June 24, 1961 he married Janelle Schulz in Muskegon. Neil loved fishing, especially for rainbow trout. He got a big one he had mounted, that he has always been proud of. Neil joined his wife, six days following her death. He is survived by his four children, John Peterson, of Muskegon, Randall Peterson, of Kalamazoo, Shannon Schulz Webb, of Brentwood, TN and Shelley Graves, of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Savanna Graves, Jordan Peterson, Nathan Webb, Sierra Graves and Kasey Gallegos; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved beagle, Tippy. Along with his wife and parents, Neil was preceded in death by his brothers, Ben (Barb) Peterson and Fred Peterson, both of Ludington; brothers-in-law, Dan Highland, of Mears, MI and Arden "Dutch" Schulz, of Whitehall, MI. Neil was a member of Calvary Church, 5873 Kendra Road in Fruitport, where a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
