Cory Sanderson

Cory Jon Sanderson age 50, a resident of Pantego, NC died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Cory was born on July 8, 1971 to the late William Earl Sanderson and Toni Ann Clark. He was later adopted by the late Terri Ann Sanderson. He worked with the Beaufort County school system for 15 years. Cory was a loving husband, father, brother, and pop-pop. He was a family man who enjoyed his days off. He loved spending those days off with his family and his dogs. Cory is survived by his wife: April N. Sanderson of Pantego, NC; five children: Courtney L. Zimmerman of Pantego, NC; Tyler A. Pike and spouse Karl of Hendersonville, TN; Kiersten J. Dugger and spouse Joseph of Pantego, NC; Christopher W. Sanderson and spouse Susanna of Plymouth, NC; Sierra M. Ramirez and spouse Erick of Belhaven, NC: three grandchildren: Aria G. Zimmerman, Louis S. Dugger, William P. Sanderson, two sisters: Jodi Bell of Pantego, NC and Billie Jo Walker of Georgia. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Haley C. Sanderson.
