LEPAGE, Courtney Drake It is with great sadness the family of Court LePage announces his passing on June 28, 2004 at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Court was born in Calgary, Alberta on March 27, 1961 at The General Hospital. He spent some years in Edmonton, Brooks and moved to Manitoba in 1982. Court was a jack-of-all trades doing electrical and carpentry work. Court also managed a general store & restaurant in Sperling, Manitoba and worked at Boeing for several years. Though life dealt Court many curves he tried always to keep a positive attitude. Court enjoyed coffeeing with his buddies in Carmen and had made himself available to help others. Together with his chosen life partner, Valerie Olsen, he found a knack for fostering children and mentally handicapped adults. In his last years Court was predeceased by his daughter Kyra in 1989 and his beloved Nanny in 1996. He is survived by his son Shane who he dearly loved, his chosen life partner Val and his parents John LePage (Shirley) Sperling, Joy Harper (Wilf), Edmonton, three sisters Debbie Hennessey (Dan) Edmonton, Pam Stone (Neil) Medicine Hat, Lorelie Whelan (Rick) Medicine Hat, three brothers Lance LePage (Melodi) Lethbridge, Calvin LePage Winnipeg, half brother Ryan Briegel Winnipeg, one stepbrother Stephen Robertson (Michelle) Winnipeg and a half sister Melinda LePage, 15 nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and nephews, Shane's mother Robyn and Court's stepdaughter Amanda. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements will be made by Doyles Funeral Home in Carmen, Manitoba. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am in the breeze I am now free I am in the home God promised me.
