West Jordan, Utah - Craig S. Andrus, born November 23, 1953 in Draper, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on January 8, 2023. Craig is the son of Grant R. Andrus and Janet Somerville. Craig was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union for many years prior to losing his sight. Craig never let his blindness get him down. He continued to serve others through his never wavering faith in the Lord as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many capacities including most recent role as a member of his Stake High Council where he served for five years. Craig's true passion in life was his family and serving others. Craig is proceeded in death by his parents, Grant and Janet, brothers Frank and Timothy and his sister Beverly. Craig is survived by his Eternal Companion Christine, sons Jared (Lauri), Shane (Elysha), Cody (Meaghan) and daughters Cassie (Jared), Morgan (Mark) and Chelsea, along with 7 grandkids, brothers Wayne (Mary), Roger (Jolene) and sister Laurie (Randy), 2 step children and 4 step grandchildren that all loved him very much.

A viewing will be held January 13, 2023 from 6:00pm-8pm at the River Oaks Stake Center. 8950 South 1300 West. Funeral services will be held again at the River Oaks Stake Center at 12:00pm with a viewing from 10:30am to 11:30am. Sending love and remembrance to all who knew and loved Craig. I remember the special time with all the family during my 50th birthday.It was truly a very special celebration.Craig was so kind and welcoming to my daughters and I..Here's hoping memories of happier times bring comfort now.
