CRAIG BUCKNER Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 16, 2025.
Craig Michael "Buck" Buckner, 56, lost his fight with lung cancer and passed away on February 13, 2025, in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Born on July 13, 1968, in Royal Oak, Michigan, Craig grew up in Berkley, Michigan, where he attended school. He had a natural talent for remodeling and could transform a space with remarkable speed and skill-tearing down walls and redoing kitchens in just a week when needed. His craftsmanship and dedication to his work left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Craig had a great love for fishing, though his enthusiasm was forever changed after watching the movie *Jaws*, which made him think twice about venturing out alone. His sense of humor and ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures were well known among his family and friends. He was told several times that he should do stand up comedy but he never had the nerve to actually get up on stage.

He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Pat and Bruce Allen; his children, Blaine, Braxton, and Brooke Buckner; his cherished granddaughter, RaeLynn Lee-Scott; his half-sister Britt Pauls (James); as well as step-sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Craig also shared over ten years of love and companionship with his life partner, Marla Pollack. His beloved dog Lilly was always by his side.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Michael S. Buckner, and his sister, Jodi Lynn Buckner.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends.

Craig's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Craig, you will forever be in my heart and mind. You always made me laugh and I loved being around you. Unfortunately, because of distance, it wasn´t often enough. I´ll never forget our Christmas "goofy" fun times. RIP, I´ll love and miss you forever.

Craig, I don´t know how I´ll get through this but I know that I love and miss you so much. Even though I didn´t physically see you very much because of our distance from each other, we did talk and text a lot and now I´m missing those conversations! I LOVE & MISS you - and I know we will be together again some day! LOVE forever MOM.
