Craig Brian Carlisle, age 62, of McDonough, Georgia died on September 6, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 21, 1960, the son of Claude Daniel Carlisle III and Janette Francis Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Daniel Brent Carlisle. Craig was a long time employee of Food Depot and served in many roles in the Meat Department during his employment there.
He is survived by his wife, Millicent Carlisle; son, Dustin Khan Carlisle; daughter, Brandi-Shay (Bryan Jason) Rowley; grandchildren, Kali Alexandria Peace, Scarlet Ember Peace, and Caoimhe (Keeva) Shay Rowley; mother, Janette (BJ) Cook; siblings, Dana Carlisle Fessler, Claude Daniel Carlisle IV, and Sterling James Carlisle; in-laws, Joseph and Jeri Sewell; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He also leaves behind a host of friends and a community who knew him well.
A service to honor Craig’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the West Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, 770-914-1414.

Each nite when I go to bed, you are first thing on my mind ( during day also) your laughter, those blue eyes and the "I love you Mom" in always in my thoughts. i WANT TO FIRST SAY, CRAIG WAS MY [RECIOUS BLUE EYED. WITTY AND CARING YOUNG MAN. HE VISITED ME THE DAY BEFORE HE PASSED AND WAS LAUGHING AND JOKING AROUND...HE HEARD THE OLD RUGGED CROSS, ON TV AND TOLD B.J. AND ME THAT WAS HIS FAVORITE SONG THEREFORE AT HIS MEMORIAL SERVICE, THAT SONG WAS SUNG BY HIS STEPDAD..MY HEART WILL NEVER STOP HURTING AND THE MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND HEAD.
