Craig Winter

Craig Win ter, 56, passed away suddenly of cardiac arrest on Septem ber 24, 2015. He and his wife, Caroline (Plante) Winter, have been Chelmsford residents for nearly 17 years. Born in 1958 in Arlington to Sandra (Porthouse) Winter and the late Thomas Winter, he graduated Woburn High School in 1977 and served with the U.S. Navy from 1977 to 1981. The owner of Winter Electric in Chelmsford, he was active in playing and coaching ice hockey for many years. Along with his wife, Caroline, he is survived by their four children: Matthew, Katelyn, Haley and Brent, all of Chelmsford; a sister, Karen Lanza, of Norwalk, Conn.; his mother, Sandra Winter, of Southington, Conn.; and four nieces. A Funeral Service with Military Honors will take place November 20 at 1 p.m. at Westview Cemetery, 520 Bedford St., in Lexington.
