Crisostomo Iluzada Victa, 76, of Goose Creek, husband of Florita Andalis Victa, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Hospice of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 4 o'clock PM at Northwood Church, 2600 North Main Street, Summerville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerbrook Community Church, 676 Orangeburg Road, Summerville, SC 29483 or Kawit IEMELIF Church, c/o Summerbrook Community Church, 676 Orangeburg Road, Summerville, SC 29483.

Cris was born on March 9, 1937 in Tabon Kawit, Cavite Philippines, son of the late Tomas Palla Victa and Gregoria Encarnacion (Iluzada) Victa. He graduated from Kawit High School in the Philippines. Cris enjoyed fishing, crabbing, shrimping, gardening, singing in the choir, dancing, spending time with his grandchildren and attending church, telling stories and jokes, farming and hauling TK. He retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service. He also worked for Trident Medical Center in environmental services and also had Victa's Variety Store at Coastal Carolina Flea Market. He was a member of Summerbrook Community Church in Summerville.

Surviving in addition to his wife Florita are: one daughter: Cheryl Lynn Victa Burton (Brian) of Summerville; daughter in law: Debra Victa of Summerville; six grandchildren: Thomas Edward Victa of Clearwater, FL, Malia Ravae Victa, Kyran Taler Victa, Andalis Carolyn "Alis" Burton, Emma Grace "Gracie" Burton and Morgan Faith Burton all of Summerville; two sisters: Natalia Victa Cuanan of Shoreline, WA and Agripina Victa Reyes of Lynwood, WA; one brother: Teodoro Iluzada Victa of Bothell, WA. He was predeceased by one son, Levynoel Andalis "Vic" Victa.
