Havelock - Croft Charles Register, 66, passed away in Havelock, North Carolina, on September 11, 2024. Born in Red Bank, New Jersey, on December 6, 1957, to Albert Layton and Anne Mickle Register, Croft grew up in Rumson, New Jersey, where his love for the water and sailing began. Throughout his life, he embarked on countless adventures with his best friends, traveling the seas and cultivating a lifelong passion for the ocean.

It was this love for sailing that led him to Key Largo, where he met the love of his life, Pamela. Together, they built a beautiful life, beginning in Highlands, New Jersey, where they welcomed their first son, Dane. Croft and Pamela became entrepreneurs, launching their own business while growing their family with the arrival of their second son, Hunter. Their journey eventually took them to Pennsylvania, where they were blessed with their third son, Baird.

Croft found his professional home at Express Marine Inc., where he built a career he was proud of, always providing for and supporting his family with dedication and love. Upon retirement, Croft and Pamela returned to their roots by the water, settling in North Carolina.

Croft is survived by his beloved wife Pamela, his three sons Dane, Hunter, and Baird, his sister Candace, and his brother Fred. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandsons Spencer, Beckett, Wesley, C.J., and eagerly awaited the arrival of his first granddaughter, due in January 2025.

Croft will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love for his family, and the joy he found in sailing the seas. His legacy of love and strength lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
