Crystal Ann McDowell

Crystal Ann (Seratte) McDowell, age 37, passed away Friday, the 25th of August 2017. To say Crystal was a loving mother, caring friend, and devoted confidant, would be an extreme understatement. She simply and unapologetically cared for everyone she knew, deserving or not, and was loyal to those she cared for, sometimes to a fault.
Born Friday the 26th of October 1979, she was a native of Baytown, where she currently lived and was raising her two beautiful children, which were her entire world. Crystal was a top producing 3rd generation Realtor, working with her family's business Virginia Malone and Associates, as well as a fifteen-year veteran of ExpressJet Airlines, where she held a number of positions, including Flight Attendant and Training Instructor. She loved helping people realize their dreams.
Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, Pamela Sue Seratte and Anthony Paul Walters; maternal grandparents, Jack and Vera Seratte; and paternal grandfather, Robert "Burl" Walters.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are her son, Madden Alexander McDowell; daughter, Maui Lorelei McDowell; paternal grandmother, Wanda Ann Walters; uncle, Jeffrey Walters; aunt, Sandra Bransford and husband Jesse; uncle, Robert Walters; uncle, Terry Seratte and wife Cindy; aunt, Debra French; and great-aunt, Virginia Malone; as well as a vast host of extended family and friends, who's lives are better and more beautiful because Crystal was in them.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for twelve o'clock noon on Saturday, the 16th of September 2017 in the chapel of Earthman Funeral Directors, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
